1. Inquiry & Initial Contact

  • Submit an online inquiry form or call the admissions office to express interest.

  • Attend an info session/Zoom call to learn about our philosophy, programs, and admissions timeline.

2. School Tour & Observation

  • Schedule an adult-only tour to observe classrooms in action .

3. Submit an Application

  • Complete an application form (online or paper) with:

    • Child’s developmental history (for toddlers) .

    • Prior school records (for Elementary applicants) .

    • Teacher recommendations (typically required for ages 6+) .

  • Pay a non-refundable application fee ($75) .

4. Child Visit/Assessment

  • Young Children’s Community (infants/toddlers):

    • Short visit (15–30 mins) with a parent present.

  • Primary (3–6 years):

    • Classroom visit (30–45 mins) without parents.

  • Elementary (6–12 years):

    • Shadow day(s) (1–2 full days) to integrate with peers and teachers .

    • Submission of standardized test scores may be requested.

5. Admissions Decision & Enrollment

  • Notification timeline: We will notify by March for the following academic year.

  • Waitpool policy: If no spots are available, children may be placed in a waitpool prioritized by siblings, Montessori transfers, or application date.

  • Secure enrollment with a deposit ($500, non-refundable)

Tuition covers academic programming, classroom materials, and community events. Additional fees may apply for extended care or extracurricular activities.

  • After-School Activities: $250–$500 per term (e.g., ceramics, robotics, swimming).

Payment Options & Policies

  • Payment Plans: Choose from:

    • Full payment (5% discount if paid by July 1)

    • Semi-annual (Due July 1 and January 1)

    • Monthly (10 installments via automatic debit)

  • Sibling Discount: 10% reduction for each additional child enrolled.

  • Withdrawal Policy: Tuition refunds follow a prorated schedule; 30 days’ notice required.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

We are committed to economic diversity and offer need-based financial aid to approximately 20% of families. Key details:

  • Application Deadline: March 1, 2025 (for the 2025–2026 school year).

  • Process: Submit tax returns and a statement of need via FAST. Awards are granted confidentially and separately from admissions.

  • Funding Sources: Supported by donations, fundraising, and the school’s operating budget.
